2nd St. Julius M. Hand A.S. U.S.A. reported as adjutant and I spent a great deal of time telling him what was what. Now can divide my time on flying field.

After dinner was going to enjoy this [[strikethrough]][[?]][[/strikethrough]] irresistible long evening by flying a Sopirtt biplace with Charlie Boben but we went to see "Billeted" and "After the War", two clever little plays, staged by the "Verdan Players".

Saturday 10th.
Usual routine morning. PM. W.H.Y.Hockett and I went to Nancy to try on suit at le Tirllem M. Millepieds - we call him Mr. Thousand feet of [[underlined]]course[[/underlined]].
