In the afternoon I took the Salmson I had out yesterday, over to Hill 402 at headquarter flight. Charlie Baker flew the Airco over and I flew Charlie back. I set the bus at a good speed and let her fly herself home except when we played about a few low clouds. We also inspected the gorgeous grounds and Chateau at Neufchateau - the one on the hill to the northwest that rises like a beacon on the edge of the valley. We also looked over [[Donnery?]] and sundry other places.
