The Revue brought back much of my [[low?]] respect for the French musical comedy stage. In former production the inevitable [[nasties?]] and soiled costumes and bored aspect of the actors and actresses spoiled the show for me. At this performance the make-ups were very good, the [[gowns??]] were immense, the lines -- what I understood of them -- were not bad. The official announcers of what's supposed to be coming forthwith, by either a man or woman or both was the only monotonous feature
