Dr. and Mrs. Georges E. Murphy

It gives me much pleasure to say that I consider them as most desirable tenants. Dr. and Mrs. Murphy are close friends of Mrs. Seligman and mine, and Dr. Murphy is a most brilliant and capable young scientist who has been connected with the Rockefeller Institute for the past few years.

Not only do I consider their means to allow them to assume such responsibilities but furthermore, Dr. Murphy would certainly not undertake a financial responsibility he was unable to fulfill.

Socially they are indeed most recommendable and they both belong to leading and responsible Kansas City families. Mrs. Murphy is a member of the Junior League and they have both a wide circle of friends, many of them being socially prominent and others belonging to the group of highest learning.

Germain Seligman, President of Jacques Seligmann, & Co., 5 East 57th St., and 875 Fifth Avenue. New York, N.Y.
