Cleveland, Ohio, Oct. 15-1927.

Gentlemen:-

Enclosed find a photograph of a painting we own.

This masterpiece is probably more than five hundred years old, is painted over clay, the frame is brass with inlaid corals. It has been in our family over twenty five years, and over two hundred years in a family previous to that.

We have shown this painting to a few people in Cleveland, all of whom spoke very highly of its value. We want to sell it, and take this means of getting you acquainted with it.

Hoping to hear from you soon, and if interested, will bring original painting to New York.

Sincerely yours,
