Dear Sir:

In reference to your recent visit, we beg to hand you enclosed herewith photographs of two mantelpieces in carved stone:

No. 8602 - height 11'7"; width 6'3". In the cable received, the price of $3,000.- delivered New York is quoted as being the lowest special price net for you. We had asked for the regular price, but this is not mentioned in the cable.

No. 2340 - height 8'6"; width 11'4". For this our regular price is $7,500.- and the net price for you is $6,000.-. This last named mantel is in New York.

Although you stated that in regard to the tapestry which you are trying to find for your client, it will be no use having one come from Paris, we take the liberty to enclose two photographs of two remarkable tapestries:

No. 6498 - School of Burgundy, cartoons by Jean Grenier. Height 10'; width 11'11". Price $70,000.--.

No. 3335 - Flemish tapestry, height 8'8'; width 11'3", price $35,000.--.

These two tapestries of course are in Paris as we stated to you but could be brought here within about two weeks.

We have another tapestry in Paris, French Gothic representing the "Labors of Hercules", height 11'2";
