October 15th., 1945.

Dear Mr. Judd:

It was with great interest that I read your letter of the 12th., regarding the exhibition you plan in conjunction with the Boston Symphony concerts.

However, the COURBET has already been promised to an out of town exhibition, and is being called for next week - thus it will unfortunately not be available during the period you mention, October 26th.-November 10th.

I am indeed upset at not being able to cooperate with you, and hope you will understand my position.

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Seligman)
