Dear Kate,

How pleasant it is to receive your nice Christmas card, with such a lovely photograph of your delightful family.

Ethlyne and I wish to reciprocate our very best wishes for a Happy New Year, with particularly good health to all.

Do be good enough to excuse this type-written note, but age and poor health of late preclude my writing longhand.

Should you have forgotten it, do let me say that I have kept right along a pleasant memory of cooperation delving into the mystery of Seurat drawings.

With kindest thoughts,

Yours,

Germain Seligman
