Dear Mrs. Breed:

Several days ago during a short stay in Chicago, I had the great pleasure of visiting Mrs. Ryerson. And when we talked about your interest in art, I promised her that your name would be placed on our exhibition mailing list.

I feel certain that the next show, to which you will receive an announcement, will be of especial interest to you. It encompasses the dynamic early paintings of Vuillard between 1895-1905.

Meanwhile, I would consider it a privilege to show you some of our paintings and drawings and hope I may have the pleasure of greeting you here ere long.

Very sincerely yours,

(Georges E. Seligmann)
