My dear Mrs. Breed:

When I had the privilege of seeing Mrs. J.T. Ryerson in Chicago a couple of weeks ago, she told me of your paintings, and the courses you were taking in this connection.

Should you care to do so, I would enjoy having an opportunity to see your work. As you probably know, my gallery, in addition to other fields of art, has right along been much interested in Contemporary artists.

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Seligman)
