Flow into
705-5th Ave.

February 10, 1925

Jacques Seligmann & Co. Inc.
705-5th Avenue
New York City

Gentlemen:

We refer to your complaint of December 23rd of flow into #705 Fifth Avenue and advise you that on December 27th investigation disclosed evidence of a very small leak. Tests failed to indicate any leakage in our system or in service pipes in the immediate vicinity and the flow was too small to procure a sample.

The matter was re-investigated again on December 31st, and the flow was again found too small to obtain a sample. Re-investigation on the 13th ulto. disclosed that the flow apparently had ceased.

The premises was visited on the 28th ulto. at which time the flow was of sufficient size to obtain a sample, which has been subsequently analyzed by our laboratory as being not city water.

Very truly yours,
