Mrs. William E. Clow,
Lake Forest, Ill.

Dear Madam:
During my last stay in Chicago I heard of your interest for French furniture. I therefore trust our name is not unknown to you as we are, so to say, specializing in French art, our main place being in Paris, the AncienPalais Sagan.
It would give me great pleasure to call on you and see your home, if you could spare a few moments to receive me. I will take the liberty of calling you up upon my arrival and hope to have the pleasure of being received by you.
With the compliments of the season,
              Pray believe me,
                   Yours very sincerely,
