My dear Mrs. Hare:

Thank you so much for your letter of February 26th.

A Pissarro and Courbet could certainly interest us.

I am very sorry I did not have your letter a few days earlier as I was in Philadelphia last week and would have been delighted to have had an opportunity to see your pictures. However, as I am afraid I shall not be returning to Philadelphia for some time, I am wondering if you by any chance have photographs of the Pissarro and Courbet. I should very much appreciate it if you could send them on to me together with the dimensions of the pictures and the prices you would like to obtain.

With anticipated thanks for your answer,

Very sincerely yours,

(Georges E. Seligmann)
