Dear Mr. Hare:

I always remember your visit to the Exhibition of African art which was held in our old galleries some years ago.

As we have just moved into new premises, as you can see from this letterhead, I thought I would let you know about it and also inform you that we have just acquired the most magnificent African bronze from Benin. As this piece is a very exceptional work of art, I feel sure you would be interested in seeing it in view of your interest in African works.

Hoping to have the privilege of receiving you here in the near future,

Please believe me to be

Yours very sincerely,

(C. M. de Hauke)
