May 29, 1953

Dear Mrs. Parker,

It was very kind of you to ask Mrs. Caravais for the letter and then to forward it to me. I hope Dr. Miliadis can speak a [[underlined]] little [[underlined]] English so we don't have to depend on my very slight smattering of French. Maybe sign language will be best.

If I don't see you before I go, I shall when I get back. And have a pleasant summer.

Sincerely yours
