February 20, 1929.

Mr. Jacques Seligman,
3 East 51st Street
New York City

My dear Mr. Seligman:

This is to inform you that I have become Assistant Manager of Harriman & Company at their Madison Avenue office.

I wish to point out the fact that the service rendered by our office is of the very highest type, both in the execution of orders and the valuable information we are in a position to give our clients. The personal contact I maintain with leading banking houses and industrial sources has proven very valuable to my clientele. I believe that the present stage of readjustment in the market affords favorable opportunities for the purchase of good stocks, as I believe that we will see essentially higher prices in a short while for sound issues. I believe that the following stocks are a buy on any reaction:

American Can
U.S. Steel
Lambert
Consolidated Gas
Anaconda
Vanadium
Warner Brothers Pictures
Nevada Consolidated

and the more speculative issues, Radio and Greene Cananea.

I would appreciate it should you entrust us with part of your business, or even a trial order, that you may acquaint yourself with our service.

Yours sincerely
Theodor H. Gruellemeyer
