John A. Harriss, Esq.
Special Deputy Commissioner,
511 Fifth Avenue
New York

Dear Mr. Harriss,-

I am indeed very sorry to bother you again, but I would like to let you know that my uncle, Mr. Jacques Seligmann, who is known as the greatest European expert, and who was the adviser of Mr. Pierpont Morgan, has just arrived in New York.

I think I told you when I had the pleasure to see you that he had practically everything to do with the house of Mr. George Blumenthal, and that he was very fond of art of the Mediaeval period.

He will be in New York only for a fortnight, and should it be possible for you to receive me during his stay here, I would like very much to have your permission to bring him along, and I am sure that you would enjoy greatly making his acquaintance.

Looking forward to hearing from you some time in the near future, pray believe me, dear Mr. Harriss,

Yours very sincerely,
