Cleveland, O.

Dear Sir,-

My brother-in law, Mr. René Fulda, has given me a letter for you, which is also a letter of introduction for me to you. I am nevertheless sending it to you by mail, as the information it contains might be of interest to you right away.

I will be in your city Tuesday the 18th inst. I will be stopping at the Statler, and upon my arrival will call you up in order to have the pleasure to make your acquaintance. My stay in Cleveland will not exceed two days, and I will probably leave for Chicago on Wednesday evening. I am giving you this information as René Fulda told me that you might perhaps introduce me to some people in your city who might become art patrons, or own fine houses, as you probably know that I am dealing in high class works of art, furniture, paintings, etc.

You would oblige me if you would acknowledge receipt to me of my brother-in-law's documents, and pray believe me,

Very truly yours,
