Dear Mr. Hartpense:

Knowing that you are one of the early collectors of Juan Gris in this country, I am taking advantage of these lines to inform you of our current exhibition of this master which I think should interest you.

It is, I believe, the most comprehensive and complete exhibition ever devoted to this master in this country and includes 27 canvases from the earliest period until his death.

I do hope that should you be in town before December 10th, at which date the exhibition closes, you will not ail to stop in here and see this extremely fine show.
