Dear Mr. Neal:

When I was in Houston last winter, I was sorry not to have met you personally.

Having heard of your interest in paintings, I made a note of your name and now that I have recently returned from Europe, I should like to ask you quite especially to call at our galleries when next you come to New York.

Our firm has been established in the United States for over 40 years, and in Paris for over 60, and we have sold paintings to the leading Museums in Europe as well as in this country. Should you care to have information about our firm, you could easily do so by writing, amongst others, to the Metropolitan Museum in New York or to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

We have at the moment, attractive and representative examples of great masters from the various schools, and coming from the leading collections of Europe.

Hoping to have the pleasure of your visit,
Kindly believe me
Respectfully yours,

(René Seligman)
