Winter Quarters,
Sarasota, Florida,
November 22, 1940.

Mr. R. H. Waegen,
Jacques Seligmann & Co., Inc.,
5 East 57th Street,
New York City.

Dear Mr. Waegen:

Your letter of November 14th received.

I have just returned to Sarasota after the close of our road season and as yet have not found time to examine the paintings which we loaned to the New York World's Fair and which have not yet been unpacked. However, I have every reason to suppose that you have returned them to us in excellent condition. If such is not the case I will immediately advise you.

I will be in the city some time during the winter and am looking forward to the pleasure of dropping in and calling on you at the Seligmann galleries.

Kind regards.

Very sincerely yours,
