Dear Miss Rosenberg:

Your letter of July 17th regarding your visit to New York in mid-August has been duly received in the absence of Mr. Germain Seligman.

However, we regret to disappoint you, but we are unable to comply with your request, for our galleries are closing in a few days, as usual, for Summer vacation, and will not re-open until September.

Nevertheless, we do hope to hear further from you should you contemplate another trip East at a later date.

Yours sincerely,

Camille Harris
Secretary to Mr. Germain Seligman.
