Dear Marvin Ross:

A vague rumor that reached me has it that you have been entrusted with advising a public institution in its purchases of manuscripts.

This is pleasant news indeed and I do hope it is true and were it so, I would enjoy having your visit in the not too distant future. I am writing this because I shall probably be leaving for Europe towards the end of the month and would like to have an opportunity of looking over with you some of the Arenberg Manuscrips as there are still a few of definite interest.

May I also remind you of course of the rare separate leaf attributed to Bourdichon, the quality of which I know you appreciate.

Hoping I may see you soon and with best personal regards,

Yours,

Germain Seligman
