^[[check mark]] April 19th, 1933. Dear Mr. Spence: Your kind letter came as a complete surprise and I was indeed delighted to hear from you. I am particularly interested and thankful for what you write about Lord North's Collection, and upon your advice am taking the liberty of writing him. I shall, of course, refer him to our Paris office, were negotiations may be conducted to better advantage than from this side. As you may well remember, I was loath to leave Montego Bay, but my stay there has done me a world of good and I returned to New York in fine spirits and health, to say nothing of a good bit of excess weight. I am going to Chicago for the World's Fair in June, but at the present writing the possibility of going to Europe this summer is rather slight; however, one can never tell, and should I by any good fortune be in London, I should very much enjoy seeing you again. ^[[GS]]
