Jacques Seligman & Co,
3 East 5lst Street,
New York City.

Gentlemen:

I want to offer for your consideration my two old landscapes, 16" x 17" each, painted by the Italian painter, Paolo Antonio Alboni. He was a well-known landscape painter of Bologna, and was born there in 1670. These paintings were executed on copper plates and display the most excellent detail work ever produced by an artist, and have found the approval of the worlds best judges of art. There is a painting by this artist on leather in the Vatican, and others in palaces in Italy. He immitated the Dutch and Flemish schools of paintings, and after an infirmity some years after the above paintings were finished, he began to paint With his left hand successfully following the style of Ruysddael.

If youare interested, I would be glad to give you other details, and show them to you.

Very truly yours,
