December 9, 1970 Dear Mr. Spink; It was pleasant to receive this morning your letter of December 6th, containing your check of $450.00 in full settlement of your purchase of the Harpignies drawing. Herein you will find my firm's receipted invoice. The case containing your drawing has already been called for, and in this connection, I am also sending you two shipping advices. Kindly return one with your signature, confirming thus its safe arrival. It was good of you to provide us with a xerox of the drawing; however your Harpignies had been carefully put aside to avoid any possible confusion. I do hope that Mrs. Spink will derive great pleasure from this lovely Christmas present. With best greetings, and with the season's good wishes, Sincerely yours, Germain Seligman Professor Walter M.
