Dear Mr. Seligmann:

I received your letter asking for an appointment with me. It just so happens that I have in my possession a beautiful Boudin which I am considering selling and wonder if you would be interested in it. It is rather an unusual subject for Boudin as it is a market scene. I have just purchased through a private owner one that I have been anxious to get in my possession for a number of years -- one of his seascapes. If I can get my price I therefore might consider selling the one I have.

I am going away for the holidays but will be home next week. Should you care and come to have tea with me on Wednesday afternoon, December 3rd, at 5.30, I would be delighted to show you the picture.

Sincerely yours,
