It Will Cost More
To Clean Windows
Window cleaning costs will be increased 15 to 20 per cent, effective November 1, a spokesman for a group of window cleaning contractors said today because of wage increases just granted.

The spokesman, Abraham Rosenblatt, chairman of the Building Service Employers Association, announced the increased costs, after a meeting of employers at the Hotel McAlpin had approved a $5 weekly wage rise for some 1,100 window cleaners employed by the contractors.

The employers' meeting followed by two days a meeting of Local 2, Window Cleaners' Union, A. F. of L., which ratified the $5 wage increase. The window cleaners returned to work today after a thirteen-day strike.
