Permit us to advise that the elevators covered by above policy were first inspected June 30 by Inspectors Schneider and Tomlyn, as a result of which it becomes necessary to submit the following recommendation, which was explained to Mr. Liechte, Assistant Manager:

[[underlined]] HAND POWER SIDEWALK ELEVATOR [[/underlined]]

[[penciled box enclosing type]] REC. #1. An employee of assured should be stationed at the sidewalk opening at all times when this elevator is being used, to warn and keep pedestrians away from rising elevator. [[/penciled box enclosing type]]

Will you very kindly favor us with advice that this ^[[penciled
equal sign]] recommendation [[pencil underline leading to penciled question mark below text]] will be taken care of [[/pencil underline leading to penciled question mark below text]] at all times, accepting our thanks in advance for this courtesy?

Yours very truly,
