Dear Sirs:

We have received your letter of July 11th., and beg to state that we have always recommended to our packers to have someone at the sidewalk when the freight elevator is being opened.  We shall do so again.  You may be aware that we have a red sign warning pedestrians to pay attention to the freight elevator posted at the conspicuous place, above the elevator.
