Dear Fred:

Indeed it is good to know what has become of you[[strikethrough]]r[[/strikethrough]]. Larry inquired and some lady from New Orleans (I dont remember her name), so in the future I'll have some vague answer for such inquires.

Of course there is a place for you in New York, and there is nothing galleries like better than having another gallery because the more there are of us the more enthusiasm is created. But as you know the question is where. If you want to go with some already existing gallery I would recommend you run an "ad" in either Arts or Art News, not revealing your name but giving a box number.

On the other hand if you can get backing and can figure out approximately how much you would need for a period of five years (I believe one can operate a business at a loss taxwise for such a period) why not consider doing it that way? Certainly you know enough artists who would love to have you represent them.

Of course I will keep you in mind should I hear of anything and when next I see next see Cleve Gray as I often do - he being on the staff of Art In America now - I'll keep you in view and post you.

But you are getting so spoiled by all this leisure time that I wonder how you are ever going to settle down to a routine life again. But do enjoy your liberty while you have it and when you move on, give me the next address so that I would be able to contact you.

Wishing you the best of everything,

Mrs. Theresa D. Parker
