March 23rd, 1931.

Dear Mrs. Trosdal,

Just a few lines to let you know that I expect to sail for Europe in about six weeks, so that should you come to New York I hope it will be before my departure.

There have been countless things happening in this vicinity in the art world, all of which I am sure will be of interest to you. Of course, there are the usual and endless exhibitions about the Galleries, but one of the finest things I have been recently, for which I advise you strongly to stop in Philadelphia on your way North, is the new Gothic and Romanesque Wing of the Pennsylvania Museum of Art. I can safely say that it is the finest thing of its kind in the country and well worthwhile a trip to Philadelphia.

Anyhow, I hope I shall have the pleasure of seeing you soon, and if not, perhaps you and Beverley will be coming abroad this Summer.

With kindest regards to you both,

Sincerely,

(Robert W. Levy)
