Dear Mr. Truesdale:

When you were in here during the Harrington Mann Exhibition, I was speaking to you about some very fine 18th Century English portraits which we have.

Now as it happens since I saw you, we had been given for sale a collection of pictures belonging to one of our clients, which we are in a position to offer at the very advantageous prices. As you told me you would coming here sometime and see what we have, I thought you might be interested to hear about this collection in question.

Looking forward, therefore, to the pleasure of your visit, believe me to be,

Yours sincerely,

(Clyfford Trevor)
