Brown Goode, Assistant Secretary, in charge National Museum, Sir: I have the honor to submit herewith a report upon the work done in the Department of Birds during the month of July, 1894. [[underlined]] Accessions. [[/underlined]] The number of specimens entered in The Museum register during July, was 14 (catalogue numbers 133219-133232 inclusive), the only accession of importance being one: From William Palmer, U.S. National Museum; 8 specimens of the Hooded Warbler ([[underlined]] Sylvania mitrata [[/underlined]]), showing development of plumage.
