Having been up seeing Bredin off night before and having hung electric light over the side for time after supper we all were pretty tired and turned in about 10-11 pm.

March 25  Sunday

Got underway bet 6:30 & 7 for Dominica & Roseau where we pick up Jack Clarke.  Beautiful clear day except at top of Pelee.  Not until we were well past the Martinique did clouds leave summit long enough for us to photo it & then from poorest aspect I should say.  After lunch line over stern caught 4 ft "wahoo" off Martinique.

Here at 4 p.m. getting near Rosseau;  this Id of Dominica is green as Martinique and about as mountainous but not as picturesque (to me) neat appearing towns, nestle at foot of hills.

So much rolling underway that I could gotten seasick had I let myself go.
Arr. Rosseau Rd. dingy looking place [[?]] and there was Jack Clarke to meet us on the dock only we anchored off & he came out in hbr. masters boat (black man as are all officials in these Ids.  He drove over in car he'd rented to [[?Banndra]] wharf where we anchored for
