At night before Al & Clarke got back we had the electric light over side and got practically nothing;  one long string like fish about 4 inches long, an inch long worm, [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] little (very tiny) jelly fish, & few little black specks (copepoes?)  Al good a lot of Stehles publications & an invitation for the two of them for lunch tomorrow, with field trip before they said, Al said the eight oclock start promised from dock tomorrow [[strikethrough]] probably [[/strikethrough]] meant 9, get to Stehles for lunch, lunch would last till tea time and after tea, would be time to return.  We plan to have Blanch to dinner if he can make, it and Stehle, wife & daughter on Saturday.

No rain last night for a wonder, tho in the distance were scattered showers, [[?forming]] rainbows against the sky here and there, same last evening to, & we had a little before our last night's electric light over side job was completed.
