his last visit to Washington, but very forgetful and only able to walk about with cane.  Visit was short, but wife whom daughter much resembled was bright enough though white haired too.  From Questal we went to dock side past customs house where a little curio shop for tourists (infrequent) was maintained and there was a similarly mounted robber crab, for sale.  I do not know who was or is spoofing whom.  Either the crab is established here or else a regular item of curio trap.  Should be looked into.  We should have looked into matter further by calling on man who did mounting of crabs, as to source of his material.  Even if alive would be no proof that it had not been brought over on ship with copra.

We had to get back to ship though to get collecting started and decided that yesterdays place was so good and offered so much more that gamble of exploring the salt river that we decided to go back to reef & flats & islets.
