Put electric light over side & Capt dipped up host of copepods. Other than barracuda, black crevally and [[?Genadine]] (red snapper) hook over stern of Freelance on way up, constituted our sole coll. for day. Fish we ate in part in fish chowder, of the making of which our Kennet is a past master. Had it for supper, & half was saved (or more than we could eat for next day. Think I could eat his chowder 3x a day.
