After he struck the gong, all his followers came to the palace; the asked: What is wrong with you?

He said: There is nothing wrong with me, but my wife has gone home. I will follow her.

The followers said: How many people do you want to accompany you?

The sultan wanted seven kumpits to follow him, each with two persons in it. The sultan was in one with his trusted servant. ^[[(Tumanggon)]]

The sultan asked the other six kumpits: How long can you travel with the supplies you have?

[[strikethrough]] They replied: [[/strikethrough]] Only three months, said the first kumpit.

AFter traveling for three months, they came upon a baby floating in the sea on his stomach. The sultan asked him: Do you know the way to the home of Hatar Bahatar Abdulgai (the father of his wife).

The baby said: No I do not know. You are a full grown man and should know while I am only a newly born baby. I hope a strong wind comes and gives you difficulties.

A very strong wind came and destroyed the first kumpit.

A month later they met another baby on the sea. The above was repeated and the second kumpit was wrecked.

Amonth  later they met a baby walking on the sea. The above was repeated and the third kumpit was destroyed.

A month later they met a baby running on the sea. The above was repeated and the fourth kumpit was destroyed.

The last kumpit containing the sultan and his trusted servant came upon a man on the sea. The sultan asked him the way to the house of Hatar Bahatar Abdulgai. He said he did not know but he hoped a wind would come and slow their ship and wreck.  it.  The sultan asked the trusted servant how much longer he could [[strikethrough]] resist [[/strikethrough]] withstand [[strikethrough]] he [[/strikethrough]] the long journey; the servant said that he could resist as long as the sultan.  The kumpit was wrecked, and two men swam until they reached shore.  When they reached the shore they met a very old man. He asked the old man if he knew where the home of P-s was located.

The old man said: Go straight ahead until you reach a hole, and go inside the hole.

They went into the hole. It was so big that they could stand upright. They had reached the place of P-s although they did not yet know it.  They  walked and soon encountered a lake surrounded with gold.  At the lake they saw the servant of P-s getting water.  The sultan asked if he could drink from the golden pitcher. The servant said yes. The sultan took the pitcher, removed a ring from his hand
