Dear Sir: I can set these five young men at work in Maryland, and see that their board is paid and transportation if the Pa. F. Asst (Mr [[underlined]] Corson [[/underlined]]) will commission them and pay the salary. If you can arrange with him all right, but I must lean upon some Northern society to pay salaries.

[[underlined]] Trueblood [[/underlined]] Mr.

I did receive a letter from Mr.[[underlined]] Williams [[/underlined]] and replied to it. We are very willing to help and want to do it. We only want that the lot shall be bought for a public free school that the house shall be a good one and the trade for the same well made. When proper papers are sent us showing these facts, $200.00 will be sent to Lewisburg. And we are equally ready to help at the Springs or at any other place in your county where it is needed. I hope you will see that the work moves on. And if it will not be too much trouble I want to ask you if you will be kind enough to send these blanks to the teachers at L. and W.S. and ask them to please send reports of their school to me every month. They can send them in these envelopes postage free.

Very respectfully yours
