Dear Sir:

I shall succeed in getting you a salary of $50.00 per month through the Bureau and the $20.00 which you now have will be withdrawn and used to support a teacher elsewhere. We expect you to keep up a large school and want you to make a separate report of your night school. Your salary of $20.00 will be due on the 21st of this month - then it will be paid. After that you will get the $50.00.

I can send you new books if you will send the money for them, but have no more 2d hand to give away. I shall be up before long.

Very respectfully yours,
John Kimball
Supt of Education
