I respectfully ask that the enclosed bill of lumber be bought of [[underlined]] "Handle & Keeper" [[/underlined]]   Frederick Co. Md. and delivered to [[underlined]] Sam Maison [[/underlined]] at Monrovia on the Balt. & Ohio R.R. for a colored school house at Damascus, Montg. Co. Md.  The people have bought the land & deeded it to a board of trustees of whom Mr. [[underlined]] Maison [[/underlined]] is one and they are ready to howle the lumber from Monrovis and built the house without delay.

Mr [[underlined]] Maison [[/underlined]] should be informed when the lumber is to be sent.  His Post Office is Damascus.
