Dear Sir: I send you transportation for [[underlined]] Wayman & Smith. [[/underlined]] I want them to come so as to take the steamer Wawassett Tuesday morning at 6 o'clock. If they cannot come so as to do that let them make the same steamer on Friday same hour, from 6th street Wharf. My office is corner of 19 and I streets - house corner of 7th and O streets. I want to see the men before they go. On second thought think they had best come so as to go on Friday.

Respectfully Yours

I return Miss [[underlined]] Gould's [[/underlined]] transportation. Miss (Vermont lady's), will be sent the same as hers.

Difference via Baltimore $19.00. I think that Vermont girl will make her way by sea. Genl. W. thinks that best under circumstances.

Respectfully yours
