found no fault. I have been at the place. The school-house is a good one, very near the boarding place: that I did not visit but it looks like a comfortable house from the road. I have no other place for Miss [[underlined]] S. [[/underlined]] at this time, but hope she will continue where she is. Many of the teachers have to walk a mile. She is nearby.

Dear Sir:

I think next week Thursday will be a good time for Annapolis. If it is satisfactory to Judge [[underlined]] Bond [[/underlined]] we will meet there at that time. I know they need the meeting. Things are not going on there as well as I could wish: teachers do not give as good satisfaction as last year. Will you please make the arrangements with Judge [[underlined]] B. [[/underlined]] and [[underlined]] Butler [[/underlined]] for the meeting.

Very Respectfully, Yours,

Dear Sir:

I do not see how we can aid in support of the teacher just now. If the way opens, as it may, I will let you know. The school must not go down. They are certainly getting a teacher at a very small expense now. I was at Denton the other day but could not visit your school, but hope to do so before long. I send you Register, Blanks and Rules.
Will you please have the teacher report school to me on the 1st of each month?

Very Respectfully, Yours

Dear Sir:

I send you a list of teachers with location of each. I have put Miss [[underlined]] Moore [[/underlined]] at Oakville, a place which I hope she will reach tomorrow. Her transportation will be refunded. It did not reach me in time, so I telegraphed. I have put Miss [[underlined]] Smith [[/underlined]] down at Robeytown, hoping that you will take her. I think you promised to take Miss [[underlined]] Haviland. [[/underlined]] Her school is now about to begin. I have promised to employ her in some way as soon as the school-house is ready. The Pa. Friend's have just got some good men for North Carolina: they say from Bassetts school. I want more men badly.

Very Respectfully, Yours
