Dear Sir:

I have a letter from you asking for more lumber to aid in building your school-house. I wish you to write me how the deed of the land is held on which the house stands, and send me a copy of recorded deed. Also tell me how near done the house is. What more is to be done to it. Is your school in operation? If not, Why do you not start it? State these facts and I shall know better how to act.

Very Respectfully, Yours

Dear Sir:

I have sent blanks to the teachers, so that I do not think they will need any more, and it will save them postage to report direct to me, but be that as you wish. I have sent them rules which I send to all our teachers, a list of which is enclosed. If you can recommend [[underlined]] Marshall, [[/underlined]] and really think he is doing a good work, I can pay him $10. per month. How about that school house down the County? If they are doing nothing, better sell the lumber. Wish you would report also about Benedict. Send P.O. addresses of Miss [[underlined]] Haviland [[/underlined]] and [[underlined]] Marshall. Dear Sir:

I wrote you again Nov. 20th. The blanks and register were directed like your letter and sent by mail at the same time. I do not see how you got the letter and not the other things. If not recovered let me know immediately. You must not be without register and blanks, and I must not be without reports.
I sent you rules yesterday.

Very Respectfully, Yours
