Dear Sir:

The boat for West River, starts from foot of Light St. Baltimore, on Saturday at 7 o'clock A.M..  Miss [[underlined]] Cornish [[/underlined]] will land at West River, or Galesville, as it is sometimes called, and be met by [[underlined]] Jacob Dennis, [[/underlined]] (trustee), who will take her to "Swamp School", as it is called.  If he should not be at the landing, she can stop with Mr. [[underlined]] Adams, [[/underlined]] (colored) at Galesville, until she can get over to [[underlined]] Dennis' [[/underlined]] house.  I expect to send a man teacher by the same boat to another place near.  Have her write to me as soon as she gets to her place.
