Dear Sir:

You will not stamp Official envelopes.
Your reports and letters have come all right.
Is your school well supplied with books? If not you must have the scholars buy, and get the necessary tools to work with.

Very Respectfully, Yours

Dear Sir:

I am very sorry to tell you that Miss [[underlined]] Foster [[/underlined]] cannot come. I can get you an excellent white lady, from this city, or the north, if she can be boarded. If that cannot be done then I will send as good a colored teacher as I can find. I am very sorry for all this trouble, but want now that in some way the school should be started. If you will be so kind as to attend to this mater, and write me, I shall be much obliged. Act immediately.

Very Respectfully, Yours
