Dear Sir:

I understand through Mr. [[underlined]] Montieth, [[/underlined]] that your school is in operation. I knew the house was done long ago. I have been trying to communicate with you and get you a teacher. Now I want you to have the teacher send me a report of the school each month on blanks which I will furnish, like the one enclosed. I will also furnish a daily register, if you desire.

Let me hear from you, and send me a copy of deed of your school lot.

Very Respectfully, Yours

Miss:

I have had to pay for these books, but if you will return them in good order to [[underlined]] Cushing and Bailey, [[/underlined]] 262 Baltimore St., without expense to them in freight, the money
