General:

I respectfully ask that $315.95 be given to aid in building a School-house at Rich Neck, Church Hill District, Queen Ann County, Md., and that $206.07/100, be given to aid in building a School-house at Georgetown,
in the 5th District, Kent Co. Md.

I am informed by Mr. [[underlined]] Wm. Perkins [[/underlined]] of Chestertown, Kent County, who makes request for the trustees of both places, that the frame is already up at "Rick Neck", and that aid to the amount requested will result in building the two houses.

I enclose herewith copies of the deeds, which have been recorded. Also the prices of Mr. [[underlined]] Maughlin [[/underlined]] for the lumber. And I recommend that the trustees be informed through Mr. [[underlined]] Perkins [[/underlined]] that the payment of the amounts requested above are guaranteed by this Bureau on the completion of the houses, of the size given in Mr. M's bill.

Very Respectfully,
Your Obedient Servant,
