[[underlined]] Butler Mr. [[/underlined]]

I can send a first rate colored man to teach your school for two or three months, right away, if you wish to, and will pay his board. I will see his salary paid.
Please reply immedately. I think you would do well to have one school going on this summer.

Very Respectfully, Yours,

Supt. of Education.

Dear Sir:
If you are still at Baltimore, I wish you to go to Anapolis, and report to [[underlined]] W.H. Butler [[/underlined]], Trustee of Colored School. I send you a letter from him. You can go down by boat. One goes from foot of Light and Camden in morning, or from opposite 140 Light St. I would send you money if I knew you more at Baltimore. If you can go down, I will refund the money. If you would have money from me, write and I will send. Don't delay. I have been away.

Very Respectfully, Yours,

Supt. of Education.
